You Cannot Force Someone to Love You When They’re Not Capable of Love
One of the hardest lessons to accept is that no amount of love, sacrifice, or patience can make someone become the person you need them to be. If someone is emotionally unavailable, unwilling to change, or incapable of giving healthy love, your love alone cannot heal them.
Many people stay in toxic relationships believing, “If I love them enough, they’ll change.” But real love is freely given—it cannot be manipulated, demanded, or earned through suffering.
God never asks us to chase love that continually wounds us. Instead, He reminds us of our worth. “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” — Proverbs 4:22
Guarding your heart doesn’t mean you stop loving others. It means you stop sacrificing your peace for someone who refuses to value it.
