The Stranger in Your Mirror — A Message For You

Your compassion, so they could always be the one hurting. Your capacity, so you could carry all of it and still make dinner. They wanted a strong woman who had forgotten she was strong — and every gift you had was quietly recategorized as a flaw until you believed it.
