The Apology That Never Came | Stop Waiting for Closure from Someone Who Won't Change

One of the hardest parts of healing from emotional abuse is waiting for an apology that may never come.

Many people spend months, or even years, hoping the person who hurt them will finally admit what they did, take responsibility, or offer genuine remorse. But healing doesn't begin when they apologize. It begins when you stop allowing their silence to control your future.

The truth is, closure doesn't always come from another person's words. Sometimes it comes from accepting what happened, releasing the need for their validation, and choosing your own peace.

You don't need their apology to move forward.

You need the courage to believe that your healing is worth more than their acknowledgment.
