Just Do It

Just do it! We hear this almost every day. I can't seem to get myself motivated when it comes time for me to change my life, like losing weight or testing out blood sugar levels - but what about you?

Is there an equal number of people sighing from diabetes educators who are also having trouble motivating their patients into action against the disease itself rather than just giving up after a while because they've tried everything already without success...

The answer lies within ourselves: motivation is something only we possess; no one else will have motivation set onto them by another person- so if you want more energy throughout each day (and night), forget looking outside yourself at other sources hoping someone has the magic answer!

As Harvard psychologist Jerome Bruner says: You’re more likely to act yourself into feeling than feel yourself into action.” So act! Whatever it is you know you should do, do it.

We all have plenty of reasons to delay growing. For some, it may be a lack of time; for others, money and experience are at the forefront of mind while they cite yet another excuse as a factually valid reason not just today but every day that goes by without putting in those desired hours towards personal development.

The most common response I got when asking people why my growth was hindered? "I don't know." And this is what popped into mine too until one year later where eventually after much thought had passed through my head cuz ya know how many thoughts go through our daily head!

The answer became obvious, Just Do It! Nike's slogan is as true for personal growth as it is for athletics. If you want to grow, take action. You don't need a lot of time or money - just start small and escalate the time and money you invest in yourself.

I don’t know any successful person who thinks growth comes quickly and climbing to the top is easy. It just doesn’t happen. People create their own luck.
