Jesus Is Compassionate: A Reminder for the Weary Heart

There is a version of faith that tells us to be strong, unshaken, and always “fine.”

But when you look at the life of Jesus Christ, you don’t see irritation toward weakness. You see compassion.

“Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Gospel of Matthew 11:28

That invitation wasn’t for the perfect.

It was for the tired.

The burdened.

The ones silently carrying too much.

Jesus sees you — exhausted, overextended, holding it together for everyone else — and He is not disappointed in you. He is moved toward you.

He knows:

    •    The thoughts you never say out loud

    •    The prayers you whisper through tears

    •    The disappointments you pretend don’t hurt

He knows the exact moment your heart started carrying more than it should.

And still… He stays.

He is not overwhelmed by your emotions.

He is not irritated by your weakness.

He is drawn to it.

If you needed this reminder today, comment: Jesus sees me.
