If You Have to Love Harder to Keep the Peace, It Isn’t Healthy Love
I used to believe that if you loved harder, tried harder, gave more, stayed quiet, and did everything you could to keep the peace, you could somehow save the relationship.
But there comes a point when keeping the relationship means losing yourself.
Healthy love should not require you to constantly prove your worth, silence your feelings, walk on eggshells, or carry the entire relationship on your shoulders.
That is one of the reasons I wrote Your Worth Was Never Negotiable.
I wrote this book for the woman who gave everything trying to make unhealthy love work.
For the woman who kept asking:
“What else can I do?”
“How can I make them happy?”
“Maybe if I change, they’ll finally love me differently.”
I want you to understand something:
You were never supposed to destroy yourself trying to keep someone else.
Your healing begins when you stop asking, “How do I make this relationship work?” and start asking, “What has this relationship taught me to believe about my worth?”
📚 Your Worth Was Never Negotiable is coming September 15.
