Reach out for support: Surround yourself with a supportive network of friends. Family or organizations that can provide emotional and practical support. Document the abuse: Keep a record of any incidents of abuse, including dates, times, and descriptions. This can be useful if you decide to take legal action. If you are in immediate danger, call 911. You can also reach out to local domestic violence organizations for help and resources. Talking to a therapist or counselor can help you process your experiences and develop a plan for them. Remember, leaving an abusive relationship can be dangerous. It's important to have a safety plan in place. If you are afraid for your safety, seek help from local authorities, a domestic violence organization, or a trusted friend or family member.
