Components of Emotional Intelligence:

Self-Awareness: Emotional intelligence begins with self-awareness—the ability to recognize and understand our own emotions. It involves tuning into our feelings without judgment and acknowledging how they influence our thoughts and actions.

Self-Regulation: With self-awareness comes self-regulation. This is the ability to manage our emotions in various situations, responding rather than reacting impulsively. Self-regulation fosters emotional balance and resilience.

Motivation: Emotional intelligence fuels intrinsic motivation. It's about setting goals that align with our values and passions, allowing us to persevere even when faced with challenges.

Empathy: Empathy is the cornerstone of emotional intelligence. It involves understanding and feeling the emotions of others, putting ourselves in their shoes, and responding with compassion and understanding.

Social Skills: Effective communication, collaboration, and conflict resolution are all components of social skills. Emotional intelligence helps us build and maintain strong relationships, fostering a supportive network.
