You Can Forgive Without Giving Your Heart Away Again

You can forgive someone without giving them your heart again.

Read that again.

Forgiveness is about freeing YOUR heart. Re-entry is about whether they have earned access to it again. They are not the same thing.

I see this so often with incredible women our age we think being a good Christian woman means we have to forgive AND go back to the way things were.

No, sister.

You can forgive them and still have a boundary. You can pray for them and still keep your peace. You can release the offense without reopening the door to the pattern.

Trust is not restored with an apology. It's rebuilt with consistent, changed behavior over time.

Forgive freely. Trust wisely. Guard your heart fiercely.

This is exactly what I unpack in my new book Your Worth Is Not Negotiable — how to stop confusing forgiveness with permission, and how to set boundaries that honor God and honor you.
