A narcissistic person may study the qualities they want to mirror, control, and eventually diminish. He learned your dreams so he could use them against you. He learned your wounds so he could reopen them. He learned your love language so he could later withhold it.

It was never that you weren’t enough. You carried more light than someone with nothing genuine to offer knew how to hold.

If you are questioning your worth today, stop blaming yourself. You were not targeted because you lacked value. You were targeted because your value was visible.
